Accessibility Statement
We're committed to digital accessibility. Therefore we want to continually improve the user experience for the EQUIP-IN website and apply the relevant accessibility standards. This page explains how accessible our website currently is and how we plan to improve it.
This accessibility statement applies to the EQUIP-IN website: https://equip-in.org/
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. This means you should be able to:
- Zoom in to at least 200% without the text spilling off the screen.
- Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard.
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader.
How accessible is our website?
We know that some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- Some information is only available in PDFs which haven’t been designed for accessibility.
- There are some empty links.
These issues will be phased out over time. We will work to ensure that everything that is added or updated on the website meets current accessibility guidelines. For example, we'll be sure to always caption video content and provide a transcript.

Technical information about this website’s accessibility
We're committed to making our website accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard because of the issues below:
Issues with text
- Some pages contain text that does not have sufficient contrast.
Issues with images
- Some images which need a description do not have any alternative (alt) text, or have blank alt text.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
- We will continue to review and update the EQUIP-IN website to maximise accessibility.
- We will upload files as e-books, text files or audio when possible.
- Suppliers of our online systems have been asked about the standards that their systems meet, and when they plan to meet the required standards if they do not already do so. For any new systems, we will also ask the suppliers to provide information about their accessibility standards.
- We will ensure that any future development processes include accessibility considerations and testing as standard.
